Bounce Out the Stigma Basketball Camp is specifically tailored for children 7 to 17 with epilepsy or a seizure disorder and other neurological disorders. “Mighty” Mike Simmel knows what it feels like to have epilepsy, yet Mike went on to play basketball with the Harlem Wizards. This is a fun half-day camp to empower kids with epilepsy and to inspire them to reach for the stars! Come on out and ‘Bounce Out the Stigma’ with Mighty Mike!
- Open to all children with epilepsy ages 7-17
- Each camper with epilepsy may have a sibling enroll as a camper.
- Fee of $25 upon camper acceptance (includes tee-shirt and basketball).
- Scholarships Available.
NOTE: This does not guarantee your child a spot at Bounce Out the Stigma Basketball Camp. All camper applications will be reviewed by a medical director to confirm that your camper’s medical needs can be met while attending camp. After review, you will be notified about the status of the application.
