This program will be led by expressive arts counselor and associate therapist Alexandra Morris. No art experience necessary. Youth will be provided with developmentally appropriate expressive art projects which honor their diverse emotional and physical needs. This is a strengths-based program, meant to assist participants in building their confidence, increasing their self-awareness, developing their coping skills while building meaningful relationships with their peers. This expressive arts program will include a variety of art materials and modalities, including but not limited to: watercolor paint, ink, pastels, collage, decoupage, mosaic, sand tray, and much more.

10-10:20/10:30 am – Morning circle, discussion, brief movement or music activity.
5-10 minute break – snack, stretching, bathroom.
10:30/10:40 Begin expressive arts activity #1.
11:20/11:30 am. Debrief on project and transition to lunch.
11:30-12 pm Group lunch.
12-1 pm Second expressive arts activity (Mid-activity break if needed- stretch, walk outside together, etc)
