Thank you to all participants and supporters of this year’s Gala. It was a great success and we are deeply touched by the donations and financial support from our supporters and partners.

The 2020 Epilepsy Gala in Northern California on Saturday, October 17th, is going VIRTUAL!

The great news is that with the event going virtual, we are not limited by ballroom size or table space.
All of those in our community are invited to be part of the 2020 Lids and Wigs for Epilepsy Gala.

Attendance is FREE and your experience that night will include:

– A silent auction with mobile bidding beginning October 12th

– A fascinating program and inspiring fund-a-need beginning at 5:00 PM on October 17th

– A live auction with the talented Keith McLane, with KLM Auctions

You can preview the auction items here https://epnocal.ggo.bid/

Thank you for your support!

Have you ever thought about how epilepsy could directly affect your life? What it would feel like knowing you could have a seizure without any warning? Our foundation exists to provide support in these moments of need and uncertainty. The Epilepsy Foundation of Northern California (EFNC) is a charitable organization leading the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy. Our goal is to ensure that people living with epilepsy can participate and enjoy all life experiences. While we have made great strides to improve how the community views epilepsy there is still work to be done.  We are focused on educating, gaining knowledge, and sharing personal powerful stories.

EFNC is dedicated to sharing information, providing resources, and ongoing support to the over 180,000 Northern Californians living with epilepsy. We educate and inform families, friends, schools, and places of business, by bringing a voice of awareness to help end the stigma of epilepsy. We are proud to announce that we currently serve over 44 counties from the Oregon border to Fresno County, bringing support groups, resources, and expert opinions to multiple sites. EFNC provides seizure awareness, first aid training, social awareness campaigns, school outreach, youth and family camps, art therapy, and social connection programs. We will continue to expand our program offerings by also extending our reach to the Spanish-speaking communities. EFNC brings hope by breaking down barriers, creating understanding and acceptance, and easing the burden that living with epilepsy creates every day.

In 2020, we have been faced with new challenges not only on a local level but globally. As community partners, we must remember that together we can accomplish more, touch more lives, and continue to expand on the support that so many are seeking. The EFNC is the leading organization for this fight. We are asking for your help to continue our goals to raise awareness, to shed light, giving hope and inspiration to those living with epilepsy. We greatly appreciate and thank all who have supported and continue to partner with EFNC, as we look to the future.
