Teens Speak Up!

Teens Speak Up!
is a unique opportunity for a young (age 13 to 17) advocate living with epilepsy to go to Washington, D.C., with a family member, and an EFNC representative to petition congressional leaders for aid in assuring better access to care, improved public education and more research toward a cure for epilepsy.

Every year, we seek a teenager from  Northern California  to fly to Washington as our representative.  There they will join over 200 advocates, Foundation staff, parents, children, doctors and volunteers from across the nation to share their story, raise awareness, and discuss the needs of people living with epilepsy with members of Congress.  It is a unique opportunity to meet other teens living with epilepsy and make new friends!

Our delegates from Northern CA are key to securing support and federal funding of crucial epilepsy programs.

The 2017 nomination is now closed.

For more information on becoming an advocate next year please email the EFNC at efnca@epilepsynorcal.org or head over to the TSU! page on the Epilepsy Foundation of America’s site.
